WoT: How to Keep Chaffee as a Permanent Companion in Your Garage

At Festive Atmosphere Level II during Holiday Ops 2026, your loyal companion Chaffee returns to the Garage with his familiar bags full of holiday gifts.

• Complete 3 simple daily missions to earn an extra bag for each one.
• Upgrade these bags by purchasing special bundles for gold and credits. Rewards in upgraded bags are more valuable (even unopened bags get upgraded automatically!).

• In addition, the second, third, and fourth bundles are guaranteed to contain 2D customization items, including the new free “Armor and Bones” 2D style themed around Chaffee.

Remember, all 3D items for Chaffee’s Corner in your festive village will disappear after the end of the New Year Offensive 2026, but inscriptions, decals, and the 2D style will remain yours.

Chaffee stays!
This year comes with an unexpected twist: you can now make Chaffee a permanent resident of your Garage. To do this, you must either
• complete all 56 New Year Challenge tasks (free Chaffee),
or
• complete both missions on 14 cards for a 50% gold discount,
or
• simply purchase him for gold.

Once Chaffee is yours, you will be able to rename him. Enjoy his playful antics in the Garage and receive bonuses:
• permanent +10% credits for your first 10 battles of the day;
• additional rewards and special Chaffee events. While you are out fighting, Chaffee will not sit still. He will explore the Garage and go on little adventures. After your first battle each day, a fun Chaffee event will always occur, granting a surprise reward in the form of personal reserves, credits, pre-battle instructions, or other useful items. After that, Chaffee events may occur after a certain number of battles with a random chance. The more you play, the more surprises he brings.

Over time, your bond with Chaffee will only grow stronger. The more you interact with him, the more affectionate and charming he becomes. Eventually, new animations and reactions will become available, making you smile and feel genuinely connected to your faithful companion.

But remember: if you leave Chaffee alone for more than a week, he will start to miss you, and you will need to regain his trust through renewed interactions and time spent together.

Where to find Chaffee.
You will find Chaffee both in the Guest HQ and near the festive sleigh in your village.

Before he joins you permanently, he will cheerfully run up to the sleigh, though you will not yet be able to rename him, use his special bonus, or strengthen your bond. When Chaffee stays for good, a full interface will appear around the sleigh, allowing you to interact with your furry friend and enjoy all his reactions.

After the end of the New Year Offensive 2026, the sleigh in your village will transform into a new permanent interactive object. Your renamed dog will remain beside it, guarding the festive spirit all year long.
