So they will keep increasing the version numbers stupidly (i.e. 2.0 -> 2.0.1 -> 2.1 -> 2.1.1 -> 2.2., etc), unlike any other reasonable software company. WG will keep not following the SemVer convention, which briefly is:

Don’t confuse internal patch versions for specific software and microservices meant for developpers with publicly available patch press (youtubers players etc) will use. End users don’t care about backward compatibility or whatever. 2.0 is marketing and it makes perfect sense, they are absolutely right to do so
