With the release of Update 2.0, the Chinese Tier XI heavy tank 🇨🇳 BZ-79 (techtree, mechanic: Liquid Fuel Booster) will be added to the game and become available for research after the BZ-75.

A Chinese heavy tank project from the second half of the 1970s that incorporated advanced design solutions for its time, including: a 152 mm rifled gun, a powerful multifuel opposed engine, as well as a welded hull and turret of complex shape with additional armor modules. In developing the suspension, engineers drew on the experience of American Patton-series tanks and West German Leopard tanks.
The main feature of the vehicle was the installation of liquid-propellant rocket boosters, which improved mobility in swampy areas and rough terrain. However, by 1979 the project was abandoned in favor of a tank equipped with an autoloader and composite armor, which, with the same dimensions and weight, offered significantly better protection and firepower.
