WOT Express: New Screens “About Vehicle” and “Tank Service” in Update 2.0

About Vehicle: This screen now combines several functions in one window: armor inspection (covered earlier), vehicle modules, characteristics, and general vehicle information. The general information section has become more universal: the window now contains all data about the tank except for its technical stats.

At the same time, Tank Service — crew, equipment, ammunition, and consumables — has been combined and is now located on the main hangar screen, directly under the tank. Customization is also placed here.

Tank Service: The equipment installation section has received a new modern interface. The same applies to the Ammunition and Consumables sections — now all three are merged into a single space, with instant switching between them without delays. The crew screen remains unchanged for now and is located separately. Hopefully, it will be integrated with the other three in the future.

However, the Modules section raises some concerns. When entering it directly, you cannot immediately access the nation’s research tree — only through a separate menu. Another drawback is that when changing modules on techtree vehicles, the updated characteristics are not displayed in real time: you must switch to the characteristics screen or use the comparison feature, which remains in the old format.

Research Tree: This has become more user-friendly and visually appealing: unnecessary backgrounds were removed, vehicle icons updated, and now it’s immediately clear which tank you are viewing.

Overall: The changes can be considered positive. The interface is now more modern, navigation is faster and more intuitive. However, there are still aspects that require further refinement.

  1. unnecessary backgrounds were removed

honestly that looks like shit to me. tanks just floating around. I liked the old one, when it was just a clear tank picture on some canvas

  2. Insane, who the hell cries, that they cant use blueprints? Only beggars and FOMO kids, that want t11 at the launch… Why you want everythin for free and ASAP? Thumbs up in this thing for WG and if I could decide, I would make them for much more exp and credits. And much more lootboxes on your mental heads…

  3. To be honest, I agree with the idea of removing the blueprints. They made tech progression way too easy and killed the sense of achievement. Now, if they replace them with more engaging events or marathons, the game will feel a lot more fun. Plus, it will actually motivate players to put in real effort for the rewards instead of relying on shortcuts.
