FV225 Collector (🇬🇧UK, Tier X Heavy, Promotional, mechanic: selectable fire mode)
This tank first appeared in WoT Console earlier this summer and is a Wargaming original design. It was expected that the 🇬🇧FV225 Collector would eventually make its way to WoT PC, and now it has. The vehicle features a selectable fire mode mechanic.
Fire Mode Mechanic Overview:
Unlike standard double-barreled tanks, this vehicle can only fire a salvo after switching to salvo mode using the X key. If both guns are loaded in this mode, you can unleash a double shot.
However, switching to salvo mode reduces some gun parameters and also limits top forward speed.
You can switch back to single-fire mode with the X key as well.
Regardless of the mode, both guns reload independently. While firing single shots, the second shell continues to reload, enabling a salvo after switching to the appropriate mode.
The gun barrels display a unique animation when switching modes.
