For Angus, shooting is meditative—be it through the sights of a rifle or the twin barrels of a heavy tank. As soon as that first shot lands—and, with Angus, it always does—there’s no distracting him. It’s as though he’s back hunting on the windswept moors of the Highlands, unperturbed by wild rains, howling winds, or bloodthirsty midges. He liked his nickname, Cannon, but couldn’t help but feel it did him a disservice. Cannons are loud and unpredictable. He’s far more precise than that.
