WoT Supertest: Chi-Se In-Game Screenshots & Historical Reference

Chi-Se (🇯🇵Japan, Heavy Tank, Tier VIII, Premium)

detailed stats

Historical Reference:

In 1943, a delegation from the Imperial Japanese Army attended a demonstration of the German heavy tank Pz.Kpfw. Tiger Ausf. E in Kummersdorf, near Berlin.

The “Tiger” made a strong impression on the military, leading to a decision to develop a similar vehicle for the needs of the Japanese army. The project envisioned the use of many technological solutions from the German school of tank design, and the combat vehicle had the potential to be quite successful. However, by 1945, the situation in the country had become extremely difficult, making it problematic to bring the project to life in metal. For this reason, the fate of the last Japanese heavy tank of the wartime period was sealed.

  1. Low Alpha, paper armor tank. WG must really dont know the reason to why no one plays the Type 63.

  2. Turret seems a bit on the short side if you’d ask me.
I’d have expected a longer turret like with the Chi-Ri.
If nothing else, I think it’d look visually better.

    1. They used the stock turret from WoT Blitz, instead of the top turret that looks closer to reconstructions of the Chi-Se. Why they did this is beyond me.
