Projet Louis (France, Tier-9, LT, premium, mechanics: 10-round drum)
Historical Reference
The layout of this experimental light tank was far from traditional: it featured a chassis with a front-mounted engine and main transmission, a rear-mounted cooling system, and a dual-track drive system with two drive wheels per side. This last feature offered a major advantage ā the vehicle could only be immobilized in battle if both tracks on one side were disabled.
The tank was intended to be equipped with a dual-feed automatic loading system, while the 880-10 series engine with an inline cylinder arrangement was expected to deliver excellent mobility. However, due to a lack of time and funding, the project was halted at the blueprint stage.
so instead of a char murat it is a murat char
And this 4 tracked tank wonāt have the reserve track function either
What does the length of a tankās barrel affect? Why are there tanks with shorter barrels and tanks with long barrels? Does it give some kind of acceleration to the projectile? Does it give better accuracy?
I think there is some kind of physical and mathematical rules plays here. Usually long barrels give higher speed to the shells so they are better for armour piercing job. Since the speed is higher, the accuracy is also better but I think there are more parameters to take in account.
The issue with high speeds is the heat that is created inside the barrels, meaning that it canāt shoot often and/or must be replaced often.
By the way. If you want something really interesting and exciting, I recommend trying to play here https://aviator-pin-up.com/ As if in real air battles, your success depends on luck and skill. I wish you more victories.
