I don’t know why the heck they are pretending that 160 nominal armour is “excellent frontal armour” at tier 9. Looking at the photo, the slope of the superstructure looks to be less than 45°, but if we account using gun depression and terrain, it can get to 45° effective slope. This means that the effective frontal superstructure will be 160×sec(45°)=160√2≈226 mm effective armour, which is laughable at tier 8, let alone tier 9.
And no, I’m not an advocate for the armour inflation in the game, but come on, WG, be semi-reasonable with your descriptions.

I don’t mind the tank not having armour – my fav tanks are UDES 14 5, Kunze Panzer and Vickers 3, which are pure paper. In my comment I was just referring to WG’s description and that it makes no sense.
it looks like it has spaced armor on the front tho, from in game screenshots. looks like an extra 20-30mm spaced armor plates. if that’s true.. it’ll be very good against HEAT and would make the front as thick as 190mm nominal, slope actually looks like 50+ degs too, so superstructure looks like 300mm+ effective against HEAT when not using gun dep

Looks like the Jagdpanther’s big brother, like all German tanks it will be tough but not impervious (big LFP, cupola on top of the casemate) and it looks pretty anachronistic for today’s WoT.
Hooray, WoT is finally getting a tank destroyer! It’s about time, because WoT desperately needs one! WG, but that’s not enough, we need many more tanks, many, many more…

Nice, not only we have Jagdpanzer E 100 in the game at the moment. We shall soon have Jagdpanzer E 90. I guess next year we’ll have Jagdpanzer E 80 and so on.

If its gonna be this big and slow it needs a bigger gun, like 850 damage or something. It literally has a bunch of cupolas. Armor better be nice
