WoT Supertest: Schwertwal

The second new entrant is the Schwertwal, a German Tier X assault heavy tank. It is equipped with a 15 cm gun that causes 700 HP of damage per shot. While this high alpha makes the tank a powerful force in close combat, it is counterbalanced by a rather long aiming time (3.2 s), and relatively low accuracy (0.44 m).

The tank’s solid cast turret has no vulnerabilities, but the hull’s frontal crew compartments are less well-angled compared to the main armor plate. Its mobility is mediocre for long distances (30 km/h forward, 13 km/h reverse), although jet boosters help compensate for this weakness, offering an advantage when crossing the battlefield.

In gameplay, the Schwertwal excels in close combat, where its high damage per shot can terrify opponents. However, its less agile movement on the battlefield means it requires careful positioning and timing to make the most of its decent firepower.

  1. I don’t know, leopard, lynx, panther, rhinoceros, weasel etc, etc. ok, but now comes a killer whale? What does it do on land? That might be a name for a submarine or a ship, but a tank? It’s slowly getting more and more surreal and unbelievable in WoT… Yes, the rocket engines of the Chinese tanks were never really used in series production, but they were a unique selling point in the research tree. Just like twin-tubes at the beginning for the Russians, which it feels like every nation has now. So soon every nation will have rocket engines. THAT’S INFINITELY BORING!!! Am I looking forward to this tank? Not really… and that’s sad….

    1. Same here. This endless flood of completely imaginary tanks is really getting old. And what’s with the stupid name? It’s really silly.

  2. As a german i will pass this sluggish german version of a 60TP, aimtime, accuracy, shell velocity – everything is meh. With the actual battles the frontal armor doesnt matter, the enemy is in 3minutes behind this german turtle, which wont run away..

  3. nerf 60TP – create german 60TP – nerf german 60TP ….put it on repeat

    same old shit WG

  4. If it’s designed for offense, hopefully it has some good protection to make up for the slower aiming time. It’s great that playing space waves I will never get bored.

  5. A great support tool that brings impressive experience and approach. Attractive when exploring and applying it to exploit scratch games creativity and development to bring many quality design products.

  6. I am very pleased to read your post. But I should say a few things in general. Perfect website layout, truly excellent article. What can I do to get better at level devil?

  7. Subway Surfers offers a high-speed experience where you must constantly dodge trains and obstacles on the tracks. It impresses with its bright cartoon graphics, vibrant colors, and incredibly adorable character designs.

  8. It’s really interesting to see how World of Tanks balances new vehicles like the Schwertwal — that high alpha damage paired with wonky mobility and aim time makes it such a fun, high-stakes pick for close-quarters brawls, honestly. I love when games lean into these trade-offs instead of just cranking out overpowered meta tanks, it keeps matches so much more dynamic.
