WoT Supertest: Vercingétorix

The Vercingétorix is a Tier IX French medium tank. While it’s classified as a medium tank, its armor, armament, and base mobility lean more towards heavy tank characteristics.

It features around 300 mm of effective frontal turret armor, making it tough against damage. Equipped with a 120 mm gun that causes 400 HP of damage per shot, it delivers powerful hits. Its top speed tops out at 40 km/h, allowing for decent mobility. The reload time stands at 10.4 seconds.

The standout feature of this vehicle is its turboshaft engine, enabling you to switch into Rapid mode. In this mode, its top speed increases to 60 km/h forward and 20 km/h in reverse, while engine power jumps to 1,380 h.p. (with a specific power of 23 h.p./t). However, keep in mind that gun handling parameters worsen in this mode, making accurate fire more challenging.

The Rapid mode transforms the vehicle into a true medium tank, allowing for swift repositioning and tactical flexibility. The Vercingétorix is a strong choice for anyone who prefers aggressive flanking and dynamic gameplay.

  1. Cool it looks like the Char Lourd AP58 on the Russian server and with that P/W 0f 23h.p./t with 1380h.p.(in turbo mode) is 60 t (60,000kg by Tanks.gg) just like the obj. 279e, that mean the P/W of 14.2h.p./t is 850h.p. Making this tank lighter E50 with better pens, traverse, and turbo mode, but at the cost of DPM, 50 HP, ammo, accuracy, aim time, shell velocity, and view range. Thing I want to know is gun handling factors, terrain resist, module heath, fire chance, and camo. Thing I want to be better accuracy, aim time and shell velocity (or view range).

  2. So, 70 km/h with good turret at tier 9?

The MM hasn’t been messed up enough yet so those idiots at WG need to make it even worse.
    Not a surprise though =))))

Before anyone replies, yes I meant 70 km/h, with ~26 hp/t, because people will slap a Bond Turbo on this thing.
Its “Rapid mode” boosts the top speed by 1.5, which means 40+6+1(perk) x 1.5= 70.

    1. No, only boosters have a multiplier. The 60kph is only a coincidence. If you slap on a bond turbo and use the engineer skill top speed is 67.27 kph. Like anything else that has a base 60kph speed.

Do not forget that the gun becomes super unreliable in this mode.

Whatever it is that you are finding yourself worried about with this vehicle, compare it to the DZT. Then realize you are fearing for nothing.
