ERAC 105 Proto (France, Tier-9, LT, premium)
Historical Reference:
An armored amphibious reconnaissance vehicle (from the French Engin de Reconnaissance Amphibie de Combat) project from the early 1960s. The working prototype was built in 1963. The vehicle had a small weight with significant firepower and could overcome water obstacles.
Among its advantages was its fairly high cross-country ability in mud and snow, and the aluminum alloy hull provided better protection than most amphibious vehicles of the time. Despite positive test results, the ERAC 105 Proto was not accepted into service for economic reasons.
