Historical Reference:

In designer Erich Yublaker’s project “Erich Konzept I,” developed as part of a promising tank concept, a stabilized tank turret was proposed. The left half of the turret housed three crew members, while the right half contained the autoloader. The main focus was on the tank’s high mobility, provided by a dual powerplant consisting of two opposed diesel engines. The project was deemed technically complex and did not see further development.
