The biggest update in the history of the World of Tanks project will be released on January 22, 2025: it will include 11 significant game events and new features.
This special mechanic will allow you to obtain Tier XI vehicles and other valuable rewards.
To get Tier XI vehicles, you need to reset the research progress of the branch in which tanks from Tier VI to Tier X are open, and research it again. The branch progress will be reset to a Tier VI tank. A victorious battle on each re-opened vehicle will earn you Orbit Project progression points. As you advance through the progression stages, you will receive valuable rewards, including Tier XI combat vehicles, premium and special tanks, crew members, and more.
Resetting a branch. Important features:
1) The following will remain unchanged: crew, modules researched, field modifications research, tank experience, equipment, received awards and statistics results.
2) All vehicles of the selected branch that are on the account will be sold for 50% of the cost. It is not necessary for all tanks of the branch to be in the hangar for the reset.

they did this in world of warships, allowing the reset of a tech tree. i forgot what the benefit was from the resetting.

You get Research Bureau points, which you can spend on ships you cannot acquire any other way. The reset works the same way. Its a way for WG to drain the game of credits and for players to re-grind a line and get exclusive tanks.

So all the Tanks we worked so hard for will be sold in the reset from Tier VI (at 50%), then we will have to reclaim their status and I am guessing that we will have to pay the full amount (again) to get the Tier XI. Great idea WG Devs you fucking morons, you are killing the game, for Christ’s sake get someone in there that knows what they are doing rather than the cretins in there now.
