Q: Can you do balance patches more often to shake up the meta nad make bad tanks better?
A: We actually right now talking about that. Taking into account amount of the tanks we got, it could be reasonable to do. Yet, often changes might be to much. I think we will find proper frequency

Q: My question is that will the d day map with the beach ever get reworked because the beach is actually just useless and if too many people go there in a real game you will most likely lose so i think that the beach should be reworked somehow or make the other parts of the map less important so the beach would have a reason to go to
A: Thanks for sharing. We constantly working on map rebalancing, but considering amount of maps we got it can take time to work on each of them

Q: Will there be another amnesty action for locked accounts as the one back in 2020?
A: No in foreseen future (Amnesty involved a TON of manual work for customer support teams, for context so it was quite the undertaking and I’m pretty sure our CS team would murder us if we did it again)

Q: Have you considered asking your CC’s to help with tank balancing? They play the game the most and they’re good players. Will make balancing tanks more effective and also much faster
A: We do have sessions with Community Representatives and even CCs to discuss some changes from time to time and get early feedback. Some of it is under NDA but they do also share some of those discussions with their communities

Q: Are there any plans to bring back some old removed maps ? Some of them were really fine, like Winterfield, Stalingrad (it was a little bit too flat, so the arty had pov everywhere), or sacred valley ?
A: There are plans to rework majority of the maps, but it will take time

Q: Hey Kekebox let’s take mines and ensk because we are talking a lot abouth those two, the ensk problem for ligths and meds would be removed by just making the map bigger and add places for ligths meds and sniper td’s or just remove it ffrom t8 matchmaking and higher and then the mines problem is hard to solve so i think mines should be just removed from t8 matchmaking and higher yes i know that map blocks exist but i use my 3 on the most important ones and now i’m left with airfield when i block ensk so please just remove ensk and mines from t8 matchmaking and higher (airfield should also be reworked)
A: It’s a challenging question indeed. Maps like Mines and Ensk are somewhat unique in their own right. Given the diverse array of maps currently in rotation, I doubt there would be any significant impact

Q: Are you going to ever get us new 30v30 maps?
A: As of now we don’t have any plans for new maps for 30v30

Q: It is true that personal reserves in future become temporary/time limited?
A: There are no plans to impose expiration dates on your existing boosters, so no worries there.

Q: Since the losing team receives less credit, are you considering at least giving more for the top 3-5 players in the losing team? It sucks if you perform well and carry you team but you sometimes lose in 15-3 or simple the other team is better. I think that would make less player toxic about losing
A:We wanted to avoid any exploits there where people don’t try, but we already have “courageous resistance” mechanic, if you’re familiar with it?

Q: Is there any compensation planned for players who have a carro 45t tank in the next clan event?
A:To my knowledge there is no compensation planned outside of standard compensation for duplicate vehicles, for players who earn the carro from Tour of Duty, who already own the vehicle.

Q: If WG will be exclude Ensk map for tier 8 and higher? Is that any plans to leave this map only for low-tier vehicles?
A: To my knowledge according to the answer from Kekebox, it’s not the current plan but not ruling out any possibilities

Q: Is there some plan to bring esport back to world of tanks?
A: No idea. The competitive scene is evolving and we have clearly been experimenting with different formats lately. I think there is a desire to bring back some form of organized, broadcastable competitive gaming but where or not that will be in the form of an “eSport” in the classic sense is probably still in the air

Q: Any Plans to add Romanian tree like in blitz?
A: No plans at least for the rest of the year that I know of, you can check out this years content in the roadmap highlights video

Q: Any plans to introduce multi-turret mechanism (french super-heavy branch with fcm f1 etc)?
A: No plans, it was tested during the Halloween Leviathon event, and it was found most players found the mechanic difficult to manage and it introduced technical issues for some players firing into buildings because they were focusing with the wrong turret

Q: is there a chance these vehicles (the French superheavies) could make an appearance without a multi-turret mechanism, simply as big funny “normal” superheavies? (As “normal” as you could consider those things, given the insanity of their designs/appearances)
A: They might appear in a fun mode maybe, but I’m not so sure
Tbh, never say never, as we are getting further and further into the territory of weird conceptual tanks as indicated by the PL TD line Maybe one day, we’re always on the lookout for more options

Q: Will there be new maps this year?
A: New maps depends on how the testing goes and rebalance of others. There may not be entirely new maps, but reworks like the random events.

Q: How about new nations (switzerland, hungary etc.), any ideas for those?
A: New nations is nothing we can share yet, nothing planned like those for the rest of the year

  1. Trash Q&A. Why no one asks if this 12+ year game will have new content, i.e., game modes developed for it to play these 700+ tanks we have. Why after 12+ years does this game still has a single standard mode that is 15v3 turbo one-sided garbage? Why can’t we have more Frontline in the game?

    Like ask real questions, not just minutiae stuff.

  2. No plans for a multi-turret mechanism because players had difficulty using the multi-turret mechanism in Leviathan Halloween mode?
    and the operating problems of the multi-turret mechanism of Leviathan hallowen mode?
    do we forget them?
    the sight of the 2nd turret had bugs,
    the firing control for the 2nd turret was on the keyboard, (I think it was X or C…) very intuitive for quick handling of the system…
    and it was a new mechanic! Obviously the players were going to master it as if they had already had dozens of hours of play with it! Obviously there were going to be players who didn’t cope with it, as with any new game mechanic.
    and above all, it was a temporary game mode.
    obviously we were not going to try hard to master a mechanic of a temporary game mode which could possibly never come back, and which never is.

    the problem with the multi-turret mechanic is that if we add this mechanic, it involves rebalancing the tanks already in play that can have it, B1, M3 Lee/grant, the Japanese heavy branch etc…
    under penalty of receiving complaints from players who don’t understand why they don’t have it as well, and also the balancing of this mechanic which is much more demanding than normal, making it more complicated…

    in short, rather than “taking the bull by the horns”, they prefer not to enter the arena.

    No new maps, no new modes, no new countries, no new rebalancing …

  5. I wonder where did these questions come from. Was there sth like a Discord thread where you could ask a question? I didn’t see one. So maybe one staff officer went to ask another staff officer some questions and voila – we have a Q&A.

  6. Lots of “maybe, maybe not” and denials, and nothing else. So we’re still burdened with once-per-five-years balancing changes (because we REALLY enjoy the “meta”, right? /s) and ridiculous maps (the QA names Ensk and Mines but what about Berlin? Tundra? The Japanese port? Paris? The list goes on).
