  1. This is Concept 1B’s little brother. If you thought Iron Arnie was annoying to deal with, wait for this…

    1. Not really. This tank is basically not for inexperienced players.
It has the tools, but not everyone can put those tools to work.
Avg players will do way better with the Iron Arnie. Its armor is too forgiving if you don’t want to say “idiot-proof”.

      1. I wouldn’t call Concept 1B a tank for experienced players, most of those I see in the game just yolo to the closest ridgeline and gold their way to victory (easy to do when artillery doesn’t exist anymore as a counter).

AAT60 looks like it’ll be the same thing, and compared to Iron Arnie it has a much smaller cupola and better mobility (better reverse speed and hp/t). It also does not take much skill to abuse a hulldown position (again, no counter from above).

        1. Firstly, the Concept 1B is OP not because it can brawl better than most tier 9s, but because it has the mobility to get the best positions and the flexibility to use those positions.
Long story short, it’s way too flexible. And yes, it’s only OP if you’re good enough to use all of its tools. Otherwise, you would do better with the AE Phase I, which is a better brawling tank with better armor and those crazy 340 HEATs.

If you think the AAT60 will be somehow similar to the Concept 1B then I hope you’ll have a good time trying to play with the same level of agressiveness.
With that kind of armor and minimal HP, oh boy oh boy how easy it is to get a free garage ticket =)))))
Extremely good firepower gives the tank very high potential, but this potential doesn’t mean you can play super agressively and get crazy results with ease.

For some reasons, a lot of people think that it’s so easy to kill everyone else as long as they find a hulldown position and clickers won’t shit on them =))))))))
Why is it so hard to be realistic?
Why in my games, I get shit on in every single city map?

          1. AE is not really a brawler, it has no armor except on the upper plate and turret face. When they stick to ridges they are a threat, but when they try to push they often get killed.

            > For some reasons, a lot of people think that it’s so easy to kill everyone else as long as they find a hulldown position and clickers won’t shit on them

Because that’s the truth. A strong hulldown tank like T29 or Super Conqueror is pretty much invincible if it finds a good position. Large caliber HE does not exist anymore as a counter, and SPGs (many of which are clueless tools) don’t do enough damage fast enough to be threats (reload speed is too long, accuracy is too poor, and non-pens do meh damage at best). Other factors play a role in the match’s outcome (other flank collapsing, no allies with you, etc.), but we talk about the “hulldown meta” for a reason.

            1. What? How the AE Phase I is not a brawler? It goes frontline and grinds its way till it dies or enemies all die in every single game, and you’re saying it’s not a brawler?
Do I need to know some secrets about the tank even when I avg 4k+ with it and always on 100%+ MoE?

How is it the truth when you’re saying the T29 and the S.Conq is invincible when they’re being hulldown? Do you mean “they can’t be pen in the face equals to they’re invincible”?
That’s not even true =))))) S.Conq get pen straight in the face, in the neck, and T29 gets overmatched by a lot of tanks.

I highly doubt you understand what you’re talking about sir :/

              1. You just described Concept 1B, Chieftain, and so on. W-key and gold to victory (or die trying). That’s not brawling, that’s overclocking all stats and paying for increased winrate. IMHO what qualifies as a brawler would be a IS-7 holding a corner.

Also, T29 using its gun depression will cover its hull roof, and SC has a mostly flat turret front but you only pen that with premium ammo, which really isn’t the answer here – basing everything on premium ammo makes the whole game pointless (including records and achievements).

                1. All tanks that go frontline to beat people while taking beating themselves are brawlers. It doesn’t matter if they use armor or alpha or DPM or whatever to come out on top, they’re all brawlers.
There’s nothing such as brawler qualification =)))))))

You’re basically saying that you refuse to adapt to a situation that has been there for a decade.
Not everyone accepts it but we all have to deal with it.
It is what it is, no matter you accept it or not.

Achievements and stats do show how good you are as a player in the current state of the game.
We keep criticizing but we all know that things just can’t be ideal. There will always be flaws that we have to deal with.
And if you can’t deal with it, you become outdated.
That’s it. That’s the price if you want to be on top of anything.

So, saying that records made by using an allowed method is not valid is just stupid.
