7 thoughts on “WoT 1.22 Supertest: Balance Changes To The British Wheeled Medium Tanks (Tier 10-8)

  1. Very good and needed buffs of the DPM and most importantly of the ammount of shells – we don’t need a MT line that has less shells than all LT’s, leading to the Manticore.

Though I wonder why were the tiniest of tweaks made? Like 25 h.p. less for the engine.
Also, one bizzare thing: with the top gun on the GSOR 1006 Sheme 7 you have 50 shells with the stock turret and only 40 shells with the top one! Like wtf?! Does WG want us to use the stock turret on this car?

  2. No buff to concealment means that they are still not good, like a Leo does everything those tank does but better. I’ll say it again, buff the concealment and keep the DPM like this, no more gun buff its looking fine for now. (I could be wrong about the gun pens but I’m going off what I have seen) Let the concealment be no more then 18% (more like 17.80%) and on less then 15% (the lowest being 14.90%). I recommend the tier 10 and 9 have more concealment then the Leo counter parts. The Leo is just out performing these tanks.

    1. Aslo why get these tank if the CS63 and Leo does everything better, you could say speed but the CS and Leo are already faster and have better power to weight too. So plz let me know if you see something different then just the wheel, that are worst then the EBR in every way that makes it even worst then the CS and Loe.

    2. Buffing camo of these cars might make them from being underpowered to be a broken line super easily.
Remember that these cars are MTs and they won’t get matched up against LTs.
Being able to take LT’s role in a no-LT match in Prokhorovka will cause even more toxicity than LTs themselves.
To make these cars different from every other type of tanks in the game, just buff their viewrange, so they cannot scout actively, but they can provide really effective scout-countering plays.
But people think 20m more viewrange than the tier 10 RhmPanzerwagen will make these British wheelies the most broken tanks in the game, so let them be happy with a worse Leo1 line then.

  3. Regarding the camo: I agree, that camo buff would help these cars out, but this is just making the British wheelies equivallent to the Leopard or K-91, which will simply make them uninteresting, since we already have this exact same gameplay in the game.

My take how the line could’ve been more novel:
I think that the wheels should’ve worked the same way they work on the EBRs, BUT with medium tank values for both the top speed (in rapid mode) and max wheel rotation angle (in cruise mode).

For instance, the Concept No. 5 in tier X could’ve had 68 kp/h in rapid mode (less than CS-63’s and Leopard’s 70 kp/h) and have 15 degrees of max wheel angle in cruise mode. The palyer would have a wheeled vehicle experience, whilst preserving the MT gameplay.

  4. These should’ve been light tanks in my opinion. A slight buff to camouflage and not losing any during movement and they would’ve been good to go.
