  1. I guess we can retire the 110 and all the Chinese premium HTs at Tier 8, this shits over them all.

The game is beyond saving, but at least it’s getting premiums that are actually worth their pricetag.

  2. This is getting preposterous. Wargaming are memeing the Chinese tech tree so hard its actually annoying me.

First we have possible TIER 10 tanks like the 122 TM (a T-62 competitor more or less IRL) nerfed and brought down to tier 8 to be a premium.

Then we have the 112 used up as just a tier 8 premium when it could have been (with buffs) part of a tech tree going up to the 113.

The basic WZ-111 was the second Chinese premium and an OK Tier 8 prem heavy. It was basically what WG would call the WZ-111 model 2. Either way its fine as a premium even if the IS-2U (110 in-game) would be a better prem.

Now we have a mostly made up WZ-114 and a WZ-111 model 6 (supposedly above the kinda real 5A) at tier 8?

This is not only premium spam. They have ruined 2 possible Chinese tier 8-10 tech trees. Maybe even 3.

Honestly, this is poor game design, annoying to people who like having decent tech trees, annoying to people like me who like Chinese tanks and memey for people who dont play Chinese tanks themselves. I do NOT like.

  3. WZ-111 1-5 is tier 9 so of course the 111 6 where they took what they learned from model 1 to 5 would be a tier 10?… Wait 8?🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️

    1. The 1-4 is the tier 9, the tier 10 is the 5A

For the 6 still makes little sense as a tier 8.

Also, I got a WZ-111 Alpine Tiger, I think I might get sad.

    1. I don’t really understand all these gook tanks they all look the same and have the same names.

      1. “gooks’. really?

That is totally wrong of you.

Gooks were the North Viernamese. The Chinese were Chinks or ChiComs.

  4. what I love even more: the “hallmark” of the chinese tanks (back when those nation was introduced to WoT) was their crappy gdp. just look at WZ-111-4 with 5° gdp or even worse the WZ-120 with only 3°. but that was seemingly way to complicated for the audience, because the tier 10 tanks gut buffed like WZ-111-5 with 7°. and now the WZ-111-6 gets -8°, because … reasons! gotta love WG logic.

otherwise we need to see the armor scheme to decide, if this is (another) bunker or still something you can go up against even without the usual prem spam.

      1. Nope, the 113 and WZ-120/121 were interesting to play due to their low depression. Not meta, but tanks that hardcore users could use and have fun with.

    1. no gun depression is chinese and russian trade mark to cover that weakness russian and chinese main feature is their surprising mobility and slope armor (yes to keep the tank light enough and got some protection ). But wot 2022 is just in complete different state. you can’t balance the game with that metric system anymore. Instead they make the new tank adapt the meta or that stage of their game like any moba doing. Meta hero or meta tank fit to the stage of the game.
