Transferring an account is an important step: each player from the CIS region will need to decide where to continue playing. Below you can find the key points of this process.
- In September, the CIS region will be disabled for players on Steam. In addition, new players from Russia and Belarus will not be able to register a new World of Tanks account through Steam.
- New CIS players outside of Russia and Belarus will still be able to install World of Tanks via Steam and create an account. Now, upon registration, such players will be automatically redirected to the EU region.
- If you already have an account in the CIS region, you will be able to transfer it to the EU region and continue playing through Steam.
- If you do not want to transfer your account to the EU region, unfortunately, you will not be able to continue playing through Steam.
Providing high-quality services and ensuring the comfort of players will always remain our priority. We will keep your account progress and all applicable terms and conditions, including pricing principles, as well as the basic set of services you are used to, no matter where you continue to play.
