Artificially creating the sense of regular item being “limited time” and “exclusive” is a well known cheap trick of marketing. Just like when Progetto 46 was auctioned (at black market IIRC?) and many people bid a lot more than a normal price of tier 8 premium tank, because “it hasn’t been sold in a long while and i don’t know when it will be again”. It was sold few months later in the web shop at a regular price.
