WoT: Fair Play Update

EU:

Following the Renaissance event, and in accordance with our Fair Play Policy, we will penalize 2,552 accounts. 1,665 of these accounts will receive their first warning, and 887 will be banned permanently. Our message is clear: cheating is not OK!

NA:

In this wave for the Americas, we’ve penalized 228 accounts: 144 of these received their first warning, and 84 were banned permanently. All players who were banned during this ban wave will be removed from the Ranked Battles leaderboard.

ASIA:

In this wave, we’ve penalized 208 accounts in the Asia region. 141 of these accounts have received their first warning, and 67 have been banned permanently. These banned accounts will also be removed from the Renaissance Global Map event leaderboard.

RU:

As part of this campaign, 41,491 accounts were blocked in the RU region.
33 198 of them received the first warning (7 days of ban),
8 293 were blocked forever.
In total, 3,275 players were blocked on the Walk of Fame.

    1. It is my belief that it is mod violations and cheating during CW. I know that they are cracking down on people using grinding services also

    Now what’s more scary:

    that the cheats continue to try
    or
    that these 208 have been cheating the entire time, and only just got caught now, after years and years of using cheats?.

    Due to the complete lack of transparency, I’m going to assume primarily the latter, with a little of the prior.

  2. The lack of transparency is the most annoying part…WG are saying ‘trust us’ when they’ve lied or gone back on their word many times.
    When you report someone via a support ticket with replay, they just thank you and say they can’t reveal the player name or the punishment ‘for privacy reasons’. Can’t reveal player ign??? I sent you the f…king replay so it’s not exactly a secret!

  3. And yet last night on NA server I shot the tracks off of a tank and it used an insta-fix mod so that it didn’t lose a single second of movement. These mods need to be removed and those using them banned.
