A few more details have leaked out:
On September 28, a new special event called: “The Last Waffenträger” will start. It will be a 1 vs 7 mode in which the WT will play the role of a “boss” against 7 other opponents fighting in a specially modified T-55.
There should be no bots in the game, which means that both the T-55 and the Waffenträger auf E 100 will be player controlled.
How can I play WT auf E 100?
With special keys that can be obtained by completing missions and advancing on the leaderboard, or simply by purchasing them in the Premium Shop.
What prizes?
During the event, players will have 2 different types of crates at their disposal to hold the items needed to complete the event collection. There will also be a special crate containing the most valuable rewards, such as rare premium vehicles and the all-new T77.
Along with the “special” crate, the mechanics of “reopening” will be introduced. If you are not satisfied with the content drawn after opening it, you can reroll its content up to 5 times with gold.
Every time you open this special box for the first time, you are guaranteed to receive 100 gold.

The rng involved in getting the rewards is no worse than christmas boxes which gave you like 5 SU130p in a row for spending $60, besides the t77 isnt amazing and I assume the rest of the prizes will be something like consumables and occasionally prem time.
The double barreled tanks the Soviets have are average to bad compared to the rest of the same tier heavies so idk why you brought them up specifically outside of your middle finger comment.
And a final note, the game isnt actually dying, every year it seems tons of players stop playing but it also gains enough to offset the losses, and I havent checked the stats recently but from what I’ve been hearing the game is actually seeing an increase in players by quite a bit, so the game is actually growing again, thou dont quote me on that I’ll have to fact check that.
