The XP values cited above include tracks which are not required if merely using XP to skip through the mid-tier tanks. For example, the tier 5 requires 13230 XP but then you can unlock the tier 6 with 29,330 XP (tier 5 top gun 4,500 + 2150 tier 5 top turret + 22,680 for the tier 6).
Seb you may like to have a look at those numbers again for people wanting to know how much XP to save to simply skip tanks altogether. I intend to begin playing these at tier 8, with a combination of free XP and blueprints to get past tiers 5 to 7.
