Our Russian colleagues at wotclue have released the first screenshots from this year’s ‘Steel Hunter’ mode. There are mechanics taken from the Halloween event, which was to be released in October 2019, but was cancelled.

I hope you can still hide like in the previous one, that was the most fun part of it was trying to stay alive undetected.
Also the easiest way to farm ranks by just playing the German tank which was OP at the start making it the best option. I used the hiding strategy for the entire event easily finishing it in a short amount of time. My friends on the other hand were in eternal frustration trying to fight rather than hide and called me a coward for hiding. I just sniped back at them saying “well who is still in the lower ranks and who is done with the event?”.
Those 2 friends of mine didn’t talk to me for a week after that lol
Yeah, I mostly played hide and seek after the first 5 mins if I wasn’t already OP after a first few pickups and kills. I managed to even win one game by mostly hiding… lol. One game I had to throw at the end to be second as I didn’t want to get to lvl 25 that day (for the extra 3 days of premium), and saved that for the Frontlines week.
I remember winning one game without getting any upgrades or firing a shot. The last 2 tanks were face hugging each other and one gets ammo racked sending his turret onto the other guy killing him leaving me as the last tank alive. While I ended up in first place I had to call bullshit because I felt bad that RNG fucked both of them.
