    1. tbh this one has nothing to do with the Fury model as it has tons of different detail, not to mention the 5-6 plates of applique on top of the front plate being thicker overall etc. etc.

it’s just a famous tank that is likely to get bought

    1. 123mm sloped will never make it as tough as the Jumbo. And with a bit of aim, anything will be able to jam the turret.

PS: you lose in mobility, this heavy armor will probably kill its p/r ratio and you won’t be able to angle it without exposing its soft sides. So in the end, all you will get is… A Tier 6 SuperPershing with regular MM.

        1. Well they made the OI exp a tank that is heavy as hell, and still is fast, if they wish they can make this thing get from 1km/h to 80km/h in 2 secs. WG does not care anymore for realism or anything like that. =P

Btw that’s brings back the idea of multiple hulls for the tanks, this could pretty well be a upgrade of the standart e8 instead of a prem tank. =P

          1. The O-I Experimental’s speed limit comes from the actual documentation on the tank that was released to public relatively recently. It’s not a WG fabrication.

        1. Abrams’ wasn’t stupid. He knew how to protect his tank. Applique front plate, spaced armor over the ammo racks on the side hull, and another spaced pieced on each turret side.

  1. If it’s angled like Jumbo the this is what you can expect:
    UFP:(123mm @43°): 168.2mm effective
    Sidescrape UFP:(123mm @45°): 173.9mm effective
    LFP:(123mm @21°): 131.8mm effective
    Sidescrape LFP:(123mm @25°): 135.7mm effective

      1. It should have same armor layout (and angles) like E8, just with additional 60mm armor plates and some thin-ass plates on the turret (and possible MG weakspot on hull, though not too big).

Not sure what the “BabyRage P2W POWERCREEP” cry is about, it’s pretty much T6 SP. I’d much rather have E8’s mobility, gun handling and DPM than armor that kinda works when toptier and is useless for in every other situation.

        1. ok so it’s more like this then:

          UFP:(123mm @42°): 165.5mm effective
          Angled UFP:(123mm @44°): 171.0mm effective
          LFP:(123mm @26°): 136.9mm effective
          Angled LFP:(123mm @32°): 145.0mm effective

  2. Wait, so capitalist Americans get famous tank but fascist Germans don’t get Carius’ Tiger or Knispel’s Tiger II. Stronk Soviets also don’t get Lavrinenko’s T-34 or Kolobanov’s KV-1? Unacceptable!
