  1. Why are all the old warships “hammered” like you see in the 3rd picture, take from the aft??? I mean the uneven surface of the hull sheets?


    1. I guess it’s part of the aging process. Extreme heat and then Cold causes the metal sheets to deform over the years, also rough seas and high speed turns cause a lot of mechanical stress to the plates. These two combined over the years, many many years….


  2. I hope Navigator81 will make an additional album for also Greek heavy cruiser Averof. It’s based on an Italian design of late 19th century and saw action in every war Greece took place!
