Steven Seagal New Heroic Battle Advisor for World of Warships

Claiming victory in World of Warships takes more than raw power. You need focused strength, a tactical mind, and a winning strategy. We found a man who has all three.

In August 1998, Wargaming was founded. Then, a little over 18 years later, Steven Seagal visited the Wargaming office. There were several other events in between, one being the release of World of Warships. Now, an epic game about legendary naval warfare has brought into its ranks an equally epic individual.

Wargaming is proud to announce that Steven Seagal is now the World of Warships’ personal Heroic Battle Advisor. His resume speaks for itself: he’s a man who’s hard to kill, always out for justice, and willing to make an executive decision. With numerous victories against the odds under his belt (and as a guy who knows a thing or two about warships), Steven is the only man up to the task.

While finding his sea legs, Steven will be scrutinizing all the vessels on offer to ensure they truly deserve the title of Hero. The World of Warships Development Team will hang on his every command, and will be dedicated to improving the game on a daily basis.

“In a March, 2014 interview with Rossiyskaya Gazeta, Seagal described Vladimir Putin as “one of the great living world leaders”. He stated that he “would like to consider [Putin] as a brother”, and expressed support for the annexation of Crimea by Russia.[15] In July, 2014, following calls for a boycott, Seagal was dropped from the lineup of the August Blues Festival in Haapsalu, Estonia.[78][79] Estonian musician Tõnis Mägi, the minister of Foreign Affairs, Urmas Paet, and Parliament’s Foreign Affairs chairman, Marko Mihkelson, had all condemned inviting Seagal into the country,[79] with Paet stating, “Steven Seagal has tried to actively participate in politics during the past few months and has done it in a way which is unacceptable to the majority of the world that respects democracy and the rule of law.”[80] In August, 2014, Seagal appeared at a Night Wolves-organized show in Sevastopol, Crimea, supporting the Crimean annexation and depicting Ukraine as a country controlled by fascists.[81][82]”

Putin, Russia + Seagal = Stronk. Go figure. Geezus fucking christ, WarGaming…

      1. OMFG, it gets better the deeper you dig:

““ORSIS rifle by Steven Seagal” is going to be manufactured in Russia […]”

He also appeared in adverts for this weapon company, so he`s certainly a publically known figure. That plus being freinds with Putin. Only makes sense to hire him as a do-nothing to promote and pander to russian retards.

      2. Oh yeah this guy is bloody insane.

He was shooting a film in Bulgaria and he wanted a dedicated room to fill with candles for some fuking reason.

I mean he needs medical help of some sort.

        1. I wonder if that was something like how back in the day Bon Jovi would demand a bowl of M&M’s in their room with all of one of the colors removed. You would think this is pure prima donna behavior, but the fact was that if the organizers could manage something that persnickety then it was more likely that they got everything *else* right.

      1. Thank you for the reply.

Sorry if I’m picky but a short summary like ‘Wargaming has a new cheerleader’ with a source link would put the correct expectations when browsing through the articles. I noticed couple of articles like this. Just a suggestion.

  1. This is a joke right? He visited the offices, he signed some stuff, they took pictures, and he took off? He has a career as a reserve deputy, stunt choreographer and actor in direct-to-video movies. I mean, I like Under Siege as much as the next battleship nut, but other than that.. Fun fact: he worked on several Bond movies and on one occasion supposedly broke Sean Connery’s wrist when the Scotsman became too cocky!

  2. So he did that one naval movie and now he is the most qualified? Maybe they could get Erika Eleniak to as she did the same movie with him. I mean he is more a cook & a monk then he is a “hero advisor”. I suspect 90% of the WOWS players don’t even know who he is.

  4. Jeezass WG, if you want expired , over inflated last millenium action “heroes”, watch “The Expendables” and be done with it. That guy is just full of hot air, and a lot of BS. Martial arts my ass. And he has as much relevancy to heroics on sea, as my retired fisherman neighbor , who goes to the river each morning to catch carp. I wonder what is next. Tom Cruise as chief developer for World of Warplanes? Clint Eastwood for WOT ?
