Q&A – 21th April 2016

Sorry for posting this a bit late, but I made sure to double-check everything and finally got the right, original Polish sources.

-After changing the e-sports format, WoT viewers increased by 60%.

-Mods will be added in-game the same way as before.

-In the end, we know what we want to do with prohibited mods. Soon we will announce all the information, as soon as the technical solutions are ready. Of course you have to have an API through so we can work only with the people we want to.

-Improved interface will come;

-VR (Virtual Reality) glasses – our boys experiment and create prototypes. We want to be ready in case in a few years there will appear a market and in case there will be increased demand.

-There is a lot of fake info about Polish tanks.

-The Polish tech tree is not complete yet – the devs are still gathering information; it may be combined with another EU nations or just standalone;

-The WG historians gather tank information from many European nations – Italy, Sweden, Hungary & Poland.

-WG has found 12 projects of Polish tanks so far.

-Polish Tree is planned to appear in 2017 (premiums possibly even earlier). Why then? Because WG does not want to pull a Chinese/Czech fiasco anymore (lots of clones). Also, the Chinese tree was built just in order for WG to enter the Chinese market.

-The Stanislaw Lem tank (covered in this historical article) may only be implemented as a special game mode for events.

-More game modes will come in the future (Like Carl, Football), and more often.

-TKS: Being tested, not sure yet if it will be a tier 2 or 3; neither if it will be regular or premium;

-Rudy may become Polish in the future;

-Rampage has several fixes planned for the future;

-Tanks will not be personalized for now. WG screwed up by adding too many things in a small timeframe.

-Arty removal and +1 -1 MM will not happen.

-Maus is indeed a victim of gold spam.

-We aim to simplify the role of tanks in-game – several tanks of the same category have different roles in battle.

-Artillery is a not fun to play class: the reload time is long and the damage is too high. It will be changed.

-We are working on a complete rebalance of tanks, crew skills and interface details;

-Nothing known about a third EU server;

-Adding a positive reward or report system like in WoWS is possible; it is being discussed;

-We will test weather effects, we want the game to look good as WoT Console does;

-We will not change from BigWorld because we are satisfied with its progress;

-HD Maps are being worked on;

-The new sound engine is using a different CPU core than the rest of the game; plans are being laid out in order to reduce the strain on the GPU too.

-We have plans for a larger variety of sounds.

-Several new maps and tanks will be introduced this year.
