– Wargaming announced the Steam release of the RTS “Total Annihilation”. The initial release happened back in 1997 and TA is regarded as a reference game for today’s RTS games.
The special edition of “Total Annihilation: Commander Pack” consists of the base game and the two add-ons “The Core Contingency” and “Battle Tactics”, and also a map editor, player’s guide and soundtrack.
– Wargaming acquired the development studio “Gas Powered Games” in the summer of 2013. At the same time, the “tank” developers acquired franchise rights for “Total Annihilation” and “Master of Orion”, formerly belonging to Atari.
