WG Bans Innocent WoT Players At Random – getting 4.06’d – EU

“Greetings Commander,

This is an automated e-mail to inform you that following our internal
audit, your account is now suspended for 14 days and a final warning is
issued due to the violation of chapter 4.06 of our game rules.

You can read more about them on the following page:
http://worldoftanks.eu/en/content/docs/user_agreement/

Please note that our decision is based on a very thorough investigation
and cannot be overturned. Please note that this is your final warning
before a permanent suspension.

We are sorry that we had to take such a hard decision, but please note
that our aim is to guarantee fun, fair play and strategic satisfaction
for all our players.

Regards,
Wargaming Europe

4.06. Using bots, clickers, macros, keyboard and mouse recorders, or any other similar methods to accumulate credits and experience without the participation or with passive participation of the player within the battle.    – Except all of those players were innocent *facepalm*

On Friday, 26th of June, a very random group of WoT EU players got a 14 day ban (as a final warning before a perma ban) for botting/leeching.

Among them are many unicums, noobs, mod users, non mod users, macro users, non macro users, rocket alike mouse and keyboard users, Stone Age mouse and keyboard users, members of top clans, members of shitty clans and non clan members… And NO similarities in their last replays/playstyles.

Of course, a lot of them have sent several tickets to support. All of them got the same bot-like answers. Then they got the same “I’m sorry, but our automated botting and leeching detector isn’t wrong, we got proof and can’t undo your ban” sympathy answers. WG won’t tell anything about their “proof”. – Redditor KittyMcPurrrr
