After the official announcement and launch of the beta test of “Project R3” (Steel Hunters), which took 3.5 years to complete, let’s talk a little bit about something other than WoT.

In addition to all those games that you have already seen in mentions, Wargaming is currently developing 2 more games. There have been no tests on them outside the company yet – these are two unnamed projects Project 1 and Project 2 (named here for consistency, the internal names are different, but also code names). You will not see these games in the release in the next 2 years for sure (!), but there will definitely be tests on them.

“Steel Hunters”: A New Game from Wargaming

The next PC game from WG, “Steel Hunters”, was officially revealed at The Game Awards 2024.

WOT Express already wrote about it during the closed alpha test a few years ago. Now the beta test starts from December 12 to 22. Game engine: Unreal Engine.

STEEL HUNTERS is a Free-to-Play, PvPvE shooter with futuristic mech battles. Fight to collect rare loot on an abandoned Earth, and use combat tactics to turn rivals into scrap. Choose your Hunter and playstyle to battle 5 other duo teams. Only one can extract from the Hunting Grounds.
