Lesta Games Assets Seized in June 2025 Court Ruling

June 2025 Court Decision:

In June 2025, the Tagansky District Court of Moscow ruled that the owners of “Lesta Games” — Malik Khatazhaev and Viktor Kislyi (also associated with Wargaming) — were participants in an extremist organization.

The court granted the request of the Russian Prosecutor General’s Office and ordered the nationalization of 100% of the shares in three Lesta-affiliated legal entities:

WoT: Summer Loot Boxes in the Asia and China Regions

Starting June 5, a new set of loot boxes will be available exclusively in the Asia and China (CN) regions as part of the Dragon Boat Festival event. What’s especially notable this time is that this marks the second(!) instance of loot boxes being sold for 💰Gold.

Since Wargaming often uses regional events like this to test new ideas, it’s reasonable to speculate that Gold-purchasable loot boxes may also appear in the EU/NA regions in the future.
