We rarely mention these items, which are currently updated weekly in their respective categories (we might fix that—or maybe it’s not necessary to highlight the rotation inside the game client?).
However, we wanted to bring your attention to some interesting styles, particularly the new 2D style “White Shark”, which, as we’ve noticed, has become a favorite among many players.
Several other 2D styles on the list are just as rare, so be sure to take a look.
The 3D styles section is also updated weekly with new additions.

WOT Express: Summer Countdown

Summer has arrived, and that means player activity drops during this period. But not for the developers. Summer is building time. We expect all the standard activities within the summer 2025 framework, as well as some new experiments.

1 month until the first event.
2 months until the 15th anniversary of WoT.
3 months until the BIG September 2025.

And for now, let’s repeat what has been said from us since last year — stock up on resources! (we see that not everyone is managing that)
For example, the recent x2 could have helped with this.

WoT Supertest: Mines Changes

⚠️Important:

As has been the case ever since the deletion of the official World of Tanks forum, developers continue to post map changes exclusively on Discord. This method has proven to be extremely unprofessional and inefficient for several reasons:

  • They consistently forget to include key images that are crucial for understanding the changes.

  • Image albums are often posted without filenames or descriptions, making it impossible to reference or verify them properly.

  • The albums, usually hosted on Imgur, are poorly organized and chaotic, offering no structure for clear publication.

  • This disorganized communication makes it nearly impossible to publish any proper coverage or analysis based on their material.

  • WG appears to be incapable or unwilling to hire someone to manage a proper changelog or communication pipeline for these updates…

For the Mines map, we intend to make the gameplay more varied—by increasing the location’s size from 800×800 meters to 1,000×1,000 meters, which allows us to create a new attack direction in zones 1 and 2 and add new defensive positions near the capture bases. Tank spawn points have been adjusted to balance the timing of their arrival at various positions, and the capture bases themselves have also been relocated.
