An armored amphibious reconnaissance vehicle (from the French Engin de Reconnaissance Amphibie de Combat) project from the early 1960s. The working prototype was built in 1963. The vehicle had a small weight with significant firepower and could overcome water obstacles.

Historical Reference:

In the second half of the 1950s, the USSR was developing tanks without a turret. In Kharkov, they worked on a vehicle called “Product “Bush”, conceptually similar to the Swedish Strv 103. The gun guidance was supposed to be only vertical or with minimal horizontal angles. The project did not advance beyond the model stage.

WoT Supertest: Kanonenjagdpanzer 2 In-Game Screenshots & Historical Reference

Kanonenjagdpanzer 2 (Germany, Tier-8, TD, premium, mechanics: hydropneumatic suspension, activated by a button) was released on November 8 for testing on the WoT Supertest.

Historical Reference:

In 1959, the first designs appeared for mounting 105 mm guns on the Kanonenjagdpanzer. At the same time, there was the problem of the barrel sticking too far forward. As a result, the KanJpz-2 project was started. The gun system on the vehicle was moved back to the right side, and the hull front was asymmetrical. The project stayed in blueprints, but much of what had been planned for the KanJpz-2 was used in later projects.
