WoT Supertest: VCS 6X6 TS 90

The VCS 6X6 TS 90 is a French Tier IX wheeled light tank, and it’s immediately clear that this vehicle is very different from the EBRs. Unlike the EBRs, the VCS 6X6 is built on a three-axle chassis and does not feature a telescopic hydropneumatic drive. As a result, it lacks dual driving modes and doesn’t need to switch between them.

Historical Reference:

An option for modernizing the Panzerkampfwagen 38(t) tank, proposed in November 1944 by the Krupp company. The project’s goal was to increase firepower by mounting a simplified turret of the Pz.Kpfw. IV tank with a 7.5 cm Kw.K. 40 L/48 gun. The project was terminated during the design phase.

WoT 1.27 Common Test: M3A3 Stuart In-Game Screenshots & Historical Reference

M3A3 Stuart (USA, Tier-3, LT, premium)

Historical Reference:

A further development of the M3 light tank with a differently shaped welded hull that made the volume of the fighting compartment significantly larger and improved the crew’s comfort. Meanwhile, removing the glacis plate with huge hatches gave the hull greater shell resistance.
