The countdown to the 4th of July begins! To celebrate the anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence, we have a special event. The British Empire takes on the Continental  Army, or, in World of Tanks, U.K. vs. U.S.A., respectively!

The premise is simple:

• Choose a side before July 1 and then complete the specified missions as many times as possible — once you’ve registered, you can start playing!
• On July 1 until the end of the event, you can see the results via scoreboard!
• In order to get the award, you must be on the winning team and have earned at least one (1) token by completing a mission.
• If you choose the British Empire, you can only play as U.K. Tier VIII vehicles; If you choose the Continental Army, you can only play as U.S.A. Tier VIII vehicles.
• Completing a mission in a Premium Tier VIII vehicle yields two (2) tokens; completing a mission in a Regular Tier VIII vehicle yields one (1) token.
• At the end of the Event Period, the team with the most Tokens wins.
• The winning team gets a ×2 XP Weekend, July 12-15.

Independence Day is the big item for July, and we’re set to celebrate throughout the region with special missions, XP rewards, events, offers, and much more!

Tank Rewards returns with a series of summer fun-themed missions; Frontline: Episode 6 has more 30 vs. 30 epic battles; special XP weekends let you net bonuses and valuable items; and the Swedish UDES 15/16 Tier X medium tank makes its “On Track” debut — and that’s just for starters! Everybody knows the Sherman tank, but its Firefly variant may not be quite as famous. And yet, for many tank enthusiasts and experts, this long barrel Sherman is behind many of the Allies victories. Back in the day, even the German crews operating big cats like the Tiger and the Panther learnt to respect it. Fun-fact: its long gun made the Firefly so recognizable that some crews were trying to make it look shorter with camouflage and various tricks.

However, they were right to do so, as the power of such a tank lies in its gun, and the Sherman VC Firefly of Joe Ekins – the Velikiye Luki – is no exception. In real life, this vehicle took four German tanks the same day, and you can probably do just as good with the accuracy, shell velocity and rate of fire of this Tier VI premium vehicle in World of Tanks!

“Do or do not, there is no try”. Does that ring a bell? If not, don’t worry, because this advice may not be as good as you think. At the end of the day, trying is practicing, practice makes perfect, and with practicing, you gain experience – which can mean at least two things in World of Tanks! From 25 June at 07:00 CEST to 2 July at 07:00 CEST (UTC+2), sharpen your skills and get all the XP Personal Reserves for it. As well as a big chunk of XP for those who will complete these chained missions!
