I am sorry for the fact that the site was down the last few days. I was gone to an important event, without internet, and this happens quite often when I do that (luckily it is only a few times per year). I have increased the bandwidth limit by paying more money (luckily I can afford it thanks to the much needed sponsored articles). WoWS: NEW SHIPS – CLOSED TEST 12.9

In Update 12.9 we are going to introduce the following ships: Italian cruiser Francesco Ferruccio, German battleship Scharnhorst ’43, European destroyer Stord ’43 and American Aircraft carriers Yorktown and Essex.

American aircraft carrier Essex has returned to the game for testing, accompanied by Yorktown. These ships will be added to the Tech Tree in the future. Independence, a Tier VI aircraft carrier, will also enter testing in one of the upcoming updates. Details about her will be available later.

WoWS: CHANGES TO TEST SHIPS – CLOSED TEST 12.8

Based on testing results, we’re applying changes to Schill, Defence, U-4501, Karl XIV Johan, Komissar, Scarlet Thunder, Vrijheid, Tsurugi, Yumihari, Adatara, Picardie and Navarin.

German cruiser Schill, Tier VIII

  • Bonus to main battery reload provided by the Main Battery Reload Booster consumable reduced: -67 to -50%.
  • Replaced Fast Damage Control Team consumable with standard Damage Control Party consumable.
  • Added Repair Party consumable with following parameters: (Action time – 28s, HP per second – 220, Reload time – 120s, Charges – 2, Citadel damage recovered – 10%)

WoWS: HALLOWEEN, EARLY ACCESS TO JAPANESE BATTLESHIPS AND OTHER UPCOMING FEATURES – CLOSED TEST 12.9

Let’s go over some of the main new features of the coming update.

Halloween

Update 12.9 introduces a new Halloween Operation – Last Chapter. You will join the Forces of Light in its final fight against the Twilight Fleet – this time your missions is to escort Transylvania armed with a special explosive to the Portal. Protect Transylvania from enemy forces and help her reach her destination to destroy the Portal once and for all.

You will be able to participate in Last Chapter in your own Tier VIII-IX ships of all types. Your ships will change appearance, gaining a themed camouflage and special visual effects, as well as receive special modifiers that will help even out the performance of all ships.

As in previous Halloween events, the map is covered in Filth that gradually damages your ship if you stay in it, however, this time Transylvania is using magic to create a safe zone around her that moves with the ship. The magic weakens over the course of the battle and the safe zone becomes smaller until it reaches its minimum size.
