Historical Reference:
The project of the Swedish 152 mm self-propelled gun AKV60 Utkast 1 (Variant 1 or Prototype 1), weighing 35 tons, was developed in 1960 by Bofors. The project was a further development of earlier work on the 152 mm SPGs KV FM/49 and AKV151.
In order to reduce combat weight, the AKV60 Utkast 1 was designed on the Strv S chassis. Its distinguishing features were intended to be high mobility and a high rate of fire, achieved through the use of a new loading mechanism for 14 rounds (a clip-style magazine ammunition rack). Following a decision by Swedish artillery command, the AKV60 Utkast 1 project was sent for a major redesign, which ultimately resulted in a completely different vehicle.

WG realy misses out on premium artys
I would also like to buy a premium higher tier arty than tier 5 leafblower, which i think is the highest tier for a premium arta in the game, for like 15 years now.
WG dismissed the idea of premium SPGs and claim they created a balance in the game economics for arta players, credits wise. Unfortunately in the 16 years since they stated this, there have been many changes to in game economies, and bonds were added, and artys were nerfed and nerfed and now very very hard to get top 3 in a winning team in an spg.
It also has made spg personal missions and campaigns super hard to complete too.
No compensation or rebalancing for that, yet. SPG changes coming though, apparently. Yet again.

They add not only more balanced and good arties, but also HISTORICAL vehicules.

WG doesn’t need nor follow lesta over the board non sense. Let alone heavily opposition of arty so that comment has zero validation. If you enjoy supporting war government controlled game you can go over there and support the murderers. Don’t that sht wg or anything in comments

Arty is a fix part of this game. Deal with it. I don’t like it either, but I don’t bitch about it.
Imagine: as a HT and MT main, i myself miss lack of innovation and tech-tree expansions of artillery.
I used to play arty from time to time, but they are too team- and map-depended and it’s easy to dismiss their help in a battle situation.
This “arty opposition” is infuriating. Honestly.
improved autoreloader? that’s an interesting way to model the large magazines of these SPGs (though i’ll note that their in-game mag ROF is massively slower than the IRL rate of 15 shells over 45 secs for the bkan 1 – obviously unreasonable for wot/mir). lesta have some really good ideas mixed in with the bad.
that autoreloader is going to work hard to make up for having 500 DPS less than the stock 40/43, though. intentionally undertuned, i’d say.
