WoT: Trade In and Start Fresh This January!

A new year is the perfect time for a fresh start—even in your Garage. If a Premium vehicle no longer fits your playstyle or has been gathering dust, now is your chance to trade it in for something new.

From January 19 through January 26, the Trade-In event lets you exchange eligible Tier VI–VIII Premium vehicles and use 50% of their gold value toward a new ride. Streamline your lineup, upgrade your firepower, and begin the year with a tank that truly suits you.

You’ll find the full list of trade-in options in-game via the STORE and TECH TREE tabs.

Start: January 19, 2026 at 10:00 (CET)
End: January 26, 2026 at 10:00 (CET)

Trade-In Eligibility

Exchange selected Tier VI–VIII Premium Vehicles

The option to trade-in a vehicle is only available when purchasing a new Premium vehicle of the same tier or higher that is also available in the Tech Tree.

You can only trade in one vehicle at a time.

Get Half of Your Old Vehicle’s Value in Gold

When trading in, half of your old vehicle’s value in gold will be discounted from the price of your new vehicle.

For example: You can purchase a VIIILöwe for 8,100 gold (previously 9,500 gold ) in exchange for a VIDicker Max (2,800 gold ).

New Additions for Purchase

Important: If the vehicle you want to trade in currently has a discount, the final price of the vehicle you are purchasing may be higher. Discounted vehicles will be highlighted in the trade-in window.

• In the Tech Tree

Rules

• Program duration.
The Trade-in Program is available until January 26, 2026, 12:00 (UTC+3).

• Tier VI–VIII only.
You can only trade vehicles for ones of the same tier or higher. Vehicles submitted for trade must be at least Tier VI.

• One at a time.
Only one vehicle can be traded in per operation.

• Gold value fluctuations.
The gold value of your vehicle may change if discounts are applied to it.

• Depot.
Ammunition, equipment, consumables, and exterior elements will be automatically removed from the sold vehicle and transferred to the Depot for free.

• Exterior.
Exterior elements bound to a vehicle can only be used again after repurchasing that vehicle.

• Barracks.
The crew of the sold vehicle will be automatically transferred to the Barracks. If there are not enough free bunks, you will not be able to trade in the vehicle.

• No recovery.
Vehicles sold through the Trade-in Program cannot be recovered.

• Garage slots.
You do not need to buy additional Garage slots. The new vehicle will take the place of the old one.

  2. There’s nothing here that can compete in today’s meta. Everything is too slow, too weak, and/or lacks firepower. Before I’d even consider making a loss on any of these items, they’d need to be buffed and adjusted first.

  4. Does anyone know why I can’t get the Object 703 Version II through this? In the Wargaming news, it’s listed among the available tanks. However, I can’t find it when I’m in the game.
