WoT: Details of the New Fan Mode Launch “Winter Raid”

From December 11, 10:00 to December 22, 10:00 (UTC+2), during the New Year Offensive 2026 celebration, the new fan mode “Winter Raid” (technical name: Grinch) will launch. Details about the mode are outlined below.

Fan Mode Description

In the New Year town, an unusual van has appeared. It’s packed full of curiosities, and at the very bottom lies a peculiar board game. This is a miniature winter world made of paper and… wow, the figures move? Immerse yourself in a festive competition full of unforgettable adventures and fun rewards!

One of the main gameplay features, as last year, is three different teams of five players each in one battle on two unique maps. You can play solo or in a squad of up to three players. You will be able to choose one of three updated tanks:
• Assaulter (China BZ-75) – high alpha damage
• Rogue (France AMX 13 105) – very mobile
• Defender (Germany Leopard 1) – can heal allies

Tank HP can be restored at allied bases.

New Maps

This year, we have two new maps. The first map may look familiar from last year, but on closer inspection, it has been completely redesigned.

New Vehicle Abilities

Many new abilities have been added, while some old ones remain, though they may have been reworked or renamed:

Objectives

The main goal in battle remains the same — capture festive gifts. Gifts are scattered across the map, including enemy bases. After capturing, gifts must be delivered to your base to score points for your team (50 gifts per team required).

Enemy teams will try to steal gifts from your base, and you will need to stop them — defend your base or use your own tactics.
