WoT Fair Play Update: Bans for Cheaters and Riggers

It’s of the utmost importance to us to maintain a fair playing field to keep WoT’s competitive spirit healthy and vital. We do not tolerate cheaters or riggers, and their removal from the game can only improve things for everyone else.

Today, we’d like to give an update on the actions we’re taking to protect fair play by keeping the cheaters and riggers out.

Immediate Action on Cheaters and Riggers

Our work against cheaters and rigged battles has never stopped. In our most recent ban wave, we have enacted the following:

  • 9,097 cheaters penalized across EU servers
  • 901 cheaters banned across EU servers
  • 532 riggers banned across the EU servers
  • 290 cheaters penalized across NA servers
  • 24 cheaters banned across NA servers
  • 544 cheaters penalized across ASIA servers
  • 38 cheaters banned across ASIA servers

Penalization means a first-time warning and a temporary ban. All other bans are permanent. We leave no room for error—our team carefully checks every suspicious situation. If a player is penalized/banned, it’s because we have 100% verified proof.

What Are Rigged Battles?

Rigged battles are matches where players break the rules by creating unfair conditions to gain in-game advantages—such as farming easy damage, boosting stats, or earning rare awards.

This kind of behavior breaks the rules and ruins the experience for players who want to play fair and follow the rules. That’s why rigging leads to permanent bans with no prior warning from our side.

Fair Play Is Key

We encourage everyone to stay informed by reviewing our Fair Play Policy and understanding the consequences of violating it.

If you use mods, it’s important to ensure that you’re only using safe and approved ones. World of Tanks is open to modifications and customizations; however, we do not approve of unwelcome cheat-facilitating software that is used to manipulate gameplay and give unfair advantages. The best way to avoid unnecessary action against your account is by using mods from the official World of Tanks Mod Hub, where all mods are verified and safe to use.

Let’s continue to maintain a fair environment and enjoy the game responsibly.

    1. I’m happy for you that you can take part in the game with “Tundra”. Bad players need help in this game, otherwise they can’t do anything. I can understand that, I deeply regret your handicap and hope that one day you will be able to master this game without cheating.

  4. 9k bans😂😂😂😂 We all know who is taking monney for protection-WG! Every 4th player with UA letters is cheeter so dont bs us wg🖕🏼

  5. sorry, I don’t understand. wasn’t it always said that WoT was “unhackable”? Because everything runs over the servers and is therefore constantly monitored? The game is just shit these days, and WG is shit.

    1. wot cannot be hacked, however there is a lot of info that is needed for the game that is not displayed to the client, unless you use certain mods that feed you the info you are not supposed to see such as enemy positions of not spotted tanks, needed for the match, not for the player as it give advantage.
