SU-D15 (USSR, Tier-7, Assault SPG, techtree)
Historical Reference:
On August 29, 1943, the State Defense Committee of the USSR issued an order to develop weapons for combating heavy tanks and fortified defensive structures. By September, the Ural Heavy Machinery Plant presented a design for an assault self-propelled gun (SPG) based on the serially produced SU-85, armed with a 152-mm D-15 howitzer. However, the design required too many modifications, leading to the abandonment of the SU-D15 project.
