📝 No matter what stories you hear about who gained or lost players, if we compare the two GREAT PATCHES and their growth relative to last year, 💥 WG (🔼61%) clearly outpaced Lesta (🔼12.47%).
Even yesterday’s online numbers are still higher for WG. Final conclusions should only be made after the patch ends and the freebies stop.
But to be fair: when comparing newbie bonuses between WG and Lesta, they are roughly equal — except Lesta will keep theirs for several years, while WG’s giveaways will end soon.
As for veterans, well, they’re not really loved — they’ll have to make do with events

The only thing this patch did “better” is that now >70% of the team in tier 10 battles are APSOLUTE retards with gift tier 10 tanks. Instant win/loose are regular now.
Random was a zoo always, but this magnitude of animal running free, NEVER.

There’s problems in the world today and segregation is the only way
WG surpassed Lesta, but due to age. But honestly, Lesta is much better simply because they removed the +2/-2 MM and the +15/-15 RNG. If Wargaming doesn’t make the same changes as Lesta, the game will tend to lose players quickly.
