We are working hard on the future of World of Tanks. A select group of upcoming features are currently in development. Our top priority is to ensure their maximum technical quality and that they are implemented perfectly into the game.

We invite you to sign up for a new initiative—a Closed Test for new features.

Test New Features, Be A Part of the Future

This is not a standard Common Test for a singular update. The focus of the Closed Test is to run different test iterations with various combinations of new features. Your contribution will assist us in polishing them to a high degree of quality prior to release. You’ll get access to a dedicated test space where you can try out upcoming features and give your thoughts.

Participation is limited. The first selected players will be let into the Closed Test on August 13, with additional waves of players invited throughout its duration. You can apply until applications close.

    1. Thanks to a glitch (using a fake email from Emailnator) and signing the NDA (a fake signature) I managed to see the Closed Test contents:

      -Flamethrower tanks are being tested, with a Ez-8 Sherman, Churchill VII, T-34-85 and Tiger I as testing. It’s way more unbalanced than Lesta.

      -Tier XI tanks are here, with a M60A3 SLEP, Leopard 1A1A5, Challenger 1 Proto and T-62 (not the T-62A, but the 115mm smoothbore gun one) with special features for each tank (all get ERA armor, SLEP gets way faster aiming and circle size than a Grille 15, Leopard a stealth module to give it superb camo, Challenger an APDSFS round that deals tremendous damave and penetration and T-62 a jamming radio hability that jams enemies and lowers their skills a bit). Tier XIs have a cost of 15 million credits each and 500K experience each, with all modules researched like Tier X tanks.

      -Crew 2.0 changes and Rubicon’s unfamous stickers are back, customize your tank with the 3D elements for extra module health, view range, reload speed, etc…

      -New premium Tier VIII artillery, S-51U with an Object 261 gun and lower stats to compensate (I know it sounds like a joke but the internal name of the tank is S-51_Premium_VIII_Test).

      -New skills for crew members to carry more ammo with some penalizations, faster tanks with motor break issues or shooting with a broken gun with the cost of random module damages, as examples.

      -Special updates on maps with meteorogical effects: rain, sandstorms, snowfalling, thunderstorms, and more.

      -The new 4th Item slot where you can equip a new experimental item alongside medkits and repair kits: an mortar barrage. Charges every 300 seconds and deals 10 mortar shots in a selected location that deal 300-1500 damage from Tier V onwards.

      -New MM system: We still have Tier I, II-IV and now we get V-VII and VIII-X as new tier bands, so Tier VII won’t see VIII anymore. As a compensation, E-25 Tier VII TD goed up to Tier VIII with increased stats.

      And that is all for now. They can’t report me as my country has no WG Offices to sue me, and even then they don’t know my true location.

      2. if half of this is true, it’s the beginning of the end. Anyway, I stopped spending money this year and play less. So who cares at this point. Somebody should study this case of killing the golden goose as a business master class.

  7. To all the crykids, WG actually doesn’t need your opinion on this test at all. It’s more about having enough people on the test server to test under the most realistic conditions possible. So keep crying or sign up for the test. However, keep in mind, firstly, WG selects testers very carefully to minimize leaks, and secondly, you’re signing an NDA, which, if broken, could cost you your WoT account. Apply or just wait until GamesCom in Cologne, Germany, when WG will drop the bombshell. Previous speculation is useless and misleading. In conclusion, everyone CAN play this game, but they DON’T HAVE TO. IT’S UP TO YOU, not WG. STOP CRYING AND INSULTING, it’s of no use to you, absolutely nothing.

  8. I can work for them for free to improve this game, but they gotta respect my time first.
    But what have they done? Almost nothing but lootboxes for an excessive amount of time.
    I joined all the previous SB tests.
    This time, I simply don’t have enough interest left unfortunately.
    It’s just the consequence of treating your players like nothing but cash cows.

    And, I thought they have already cooked some mad surprises for the “September Big Update”? No?
