The game on Steam has undergone some minor public changes for the first time in five months. The last time the developers of Project CW made similar moves on Steam, it led to the second alpha test.
However, we doubt this is about a third alpha test or even a beta test, though completely ruling that out would be unwise.
Just a reminder: the game is scheduled for release in 2026.

I played the game last year i believe around November. Here is my take on it:
Its not a bad game, but its essentially just a hero shooter and instead of human with guns you have tank with cannon. The problem is, market is oversaturated with this concept. It plays on that “lets overstimulate all of your senses” string, or said differently it does have that ultra competitive “press buttons and be quick” vibe.
Its absolutely not aimed for 40-50 y/o old farts WoT dads. Its aimed at 12-20y/o young men. Even then I dont see this game being a hit.
I think wg believes in CW too much. I dont think it will take off, my guess is only for half a year, then it will just die out and be left alive like World of Warplanes is.
This is why there’s so many loot boxes to pay for this shit
