CVT Spider (🇬🇧 United Kingdom, LT-9, premium, 2-shell autoreloader system)

In the 1950s, under new conditions of warfare, the British Army needed an air-transportable light tank that could be rapidly deployed anywhere in the world and also serve as a scout for armored forces. In the CVT (Combat Vehicle Tracked) project, engineers aimed to combine high mobility with a low profile by placing the driver in a semi-reclining position. They also sought to provide high firepower through a new 105 mm low-recoil gun specifically designed for light armored vehicles. However, the tank would have had a number of drawbacks, primarily the cramped fighting compartment. Poor crew ergonomics would have forced the military to set special requirements for CVT Spider crews. Ultimately, the project was abandoned.

I would say it looks more like a British attempt to build the T100LT.
More fake tanks.
Do people even play light tanks these days?
Literally the first two most played tank in the last 30 days are lights. First is the Bourrasque with 1.124.663 battles and second it the EVEN90 with 1.110.911 battels.
ah yes, borrasque the light tank.
Batt-Chatillon 12t chassi, EBR105 turret, 12t wight, Sheridan-like movin and EBR75-like stationary cam. It’s a light alright. Call it a pseudo-med if you like. A light tank in a med’s skin.
The same way as the SuperPershing worked like a heavy tank in it’s time despite being a medium.
Oh goody
another ginormous easy to hit British light tank
We’ll all have to buy it… not
The CVT Spider looks incredible in-game-those unique design features really stand out against the usual tanks. Love how WoT RU continues to blend history with dynamic gameplay.
