Not only did most of the current dips not exist yet (including the lower path on the heavy tank flank), but all of them were filled with lethally deep water.
Additionally, the large mountain near the eastern base didn’t exist either; instead, there was just an extension of the central dip.
That’s something to keep in mind for those who say current maps are too corridor-like.
As a quick sidenote: this map actually used to be called Mannerheim Line as its pre-release placeholder name…
Pretty weird that they decided to bring that name back after seven years of it being called Arctic Region.
Also, that placeholder map description is foreshadowing kinds of stuff that’ll be covered in the future
I wish they would add this instead.
