Future WoT Collaborations for 2026

This week, a small group of players received a survey asking about their preferences regarding movies and related content. It appears that the selection of future World of Tanks collaborations will be based on the following list.

Among the options presented were:
Reservoir Dogs (1992)
Venom (trilogy, 2018–2024)
Total Recall (1990)
Star Wars (media franchise, 1977–present)
Starship Troopers (1997)
The Karate Kid (franchise, 1984–2025)
Pulp Fiction (1994)
The Godfather (1972)
The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare (2024)
The Expendables (franchise, 2010–2023)
The Patriot (2020)
Under Fire (2025)
The Fifth Element (1997)
Rocky (1976)
Saving Private Ryan (1998)
Universal Soldier (1992)

It turns out that different players received different movie lists, so here’s an extended list based on other variants:

1917 (2019)
Blade Runner (1982)
Mad Max (franchise, 1979–2024)
Inglourious Basterds (2009)

    1. Just think of it as a way to get a collection of actors in your account. I don’t really like Silvester Stallone, but for the sake of completeness he would be a “must have” alongside Arni, Chuck and Jason. =)

    1. This…make the game immersive for once. How about wg would make it less clowny plastic toys and more gritty dirty steel war machines for a change?

  1. Star Wars, Starship Troopers, and Pacific Rim all have the potential for epic skins, while James Bond and Indiana Jones have already featured tanks in their films.
Mad Max would be a real-life fantasy—just imagine the possibilities.
Saving Private Ryan, despite being fictional, is set in a historical context, as is Fury 2014. Perhaps we’ll eventually see a T-34-85 with a Tiger 1-like exterior (remember the Panther/M10)

  2. is this really what they should be spending money and dev time on?
the game doesnt need balancing? new content? bug fixes?

on the official discord dwight, a community manager said they HAD to sell the tiered lootboxes because they need the money for development (lmao), this is what they needed money for? another pointless collab with some irrelevant actor?

they will teach in business schools wargamings example, how to fumble the bag this fucking hard

    1. they said they needed the money to release the big patch on time as planned.
Which they may do. By now should be almost feature complete, only QA and fixing left.

Since that update wont just close WoT, but they probably hope to generate a certain amount of players who may come anew or back, with less leaving, tehy of course need to roughly prepare some of these future events where they generate users, playtime or money. and thats a collab.

Right now that wont cost anyne involved in developing the big patch any time.

      1. Ah yes the big secret that’s coming in September. Just over 1 months time that nobody knows anything about. Which means there’s no common test – it’s just going to happen.

Now given WG absolutely legendary history of being useless on ideas and patch implementation… 🤣🤣

      2. september is going to be the month people will run out of copium and this dogshit finally ends.

nothing is coming in september, and especially nothing big enough to justify what wg has done in 2025 so far.

    2. WG fired most of the original devs that created World of Tanks years ago…
Today you basically have monkeys with AKs, people that didn’t create the game and also have no idea how the game works or how did I get so popular in the first place 😀

They are good at monetisation tho 🙂

  3. Many of these are just plain retarded and silly. Why not some more war themed movies? Like Sahara (1943) Kelly’s Heroes (1971) The Beast (1988) or even the Godzilla movies that feature JGSDF tanks like the M24, M4A3E8 and Type 61 tanks.

  4. They need brain collaboration first☝🏻 Fix the mf game morons and then sell some bs🖕🏼

  5. Yeah, I would actually “collect” Stallone, van Damme, Lundgren, Gibson, even if it has very little to do with tanks. In any case, I think it’s better than ugly football camouflage or useless stickers/decals. I celebrate every time I bounce on an opponent and Chuck says: Let me try my Fist.

  6. I´ve got survey also with Doctor Who, Breaking bad, Top gear, Star Trek, Lord of the rings and Game of thrones and something I don´t remember. But there will be definitely even more options.

  7. …and the fanboys are like, “WOW, really good!” and all the smart people are like, “What the hell is this shit?”…

  8. Hope some 3D “sense and sensibility”, “wuthering heights” or “pride and prejudice” related content. Maybe commander Darcy or Hearhcliff.

    Please, WG.

  9. So they needed more money to fund collaborations to sell us more crap to generate more money to give more loot boxes 🤦🏼‍♂️
