A recurring theme that stood out loud and clear was the general dissatisfaction with status effects, and we fully agree that they need attention.
Our designers got to work immediately, and I’d like to briefly share some of the improvements already being tested as part of the Lodestar program:
1. Clearer, Smarter Status Effect UI
We’ve revamped the status effect interface so it’s much easier to tell at a glance what’s active on enemy tanks. No more guessing games—the goal is clarity.
2. Reduced Impact of “Dazed” and “Jammed” Effects
• Dazed no longer fully disables you—you can now fire while under the effect, significantly improving your survivability in intense moments.
• Jammed has also been made less punishing, while still retaining its strategic impact.
3. Reworked Burning Mechanic
Tank fires now deal percentage-based damage instead of a flat damage-per-second value. This makes the effect more balanced across all vehicle types—light and heavy tanks alike will now feel it in a way that makes sense.
