The Stinger (the main reward of Onslaught 2024/2025) features unique customization. But how did that happen? The key point is that the tank is a clone of the standard
T57 Heavy Tank. However, unlike other clones where customization is locked, this one has it unlocked due to the presence of several 3D styles.
Since the developers fairly allowed players to choose whichever 3D style they prefer, an additional feature was introduced — the ability to completely remove the style. By default, the tank appears in a black color. But what really surprised us was the presence of an unusual set of decals and inscriptions. Mostly, only those already available in your account can be applied. The selection is, to put it mildly, strange — even among the accessible ones.
We believe that full customization wasn’t granted on purpose, as the developers likely wanted the tank to still stand out with its distinct black look in battle.
Now they only need to add the same feature to all the other Perma 3D/2D skinnded tanks, so that you can remove all unhistorical/pokemon/clown camo from tanks.
They clearly have the technology, they just clearly lack the will to do so…
Remove that clown dress, but now suffer about lowered camo value.
“Non historical” check dont works for own tanks, so i dont know if: play with no camo factor, or forgot this tank and still use regular T57… Fukin Pokemon Tanks…. a normal camo, no?
I don’t think you have the brain to be able to play WOT
The Fantastic future of forums: an empty space of toxics vs AI vs trollers that flames each others…
Regular T57???…hmmmm it hits better then my T57 so hidden stats are what?
crazy to be crying about out of pocket camo in an arcade game that has double barreled tanks and shit
Respectfully, you do know there were ( are ) a SMALL handful of double-barred German TDs in real life. Google: German VT tanks. There were I believe 4 variations of the vehicle.
Not many, and none made it to mass production. But they do exist.
the vt tanks have almost nothing in common with the fantasy kind of double barreled tanks that are in wot.
the vts actually existed, meanwhile the ingame tanks are almost all made up besides the st2, and wouldnt even work.
True. Of course, even the VT tanks had major issues with the double barrel scheme: Once one barrel fired, being necessarily so far offset of center of the tank, the recoil would slightly spin the tank, causing any aiming the other barrel to have had to be now significantly off.
And that issue is in the absence of a turret: Imagine the additional mechanical and practical issues that would have risen from having that much pressure put on the perimeter of the turret ring, loading issues in a significantly more cramped turret, etc etc.
In theory, double barreled tanks sound great ( and do look amazing honestly ), but practically they make zero sense.
People who can unlock this tank is clearly better than the players who didnt, since its locked behind Onslaught, But going back to say this tank gets better hidden stats than the normal one is just one big LMAO. If a tank is played by only good players, considering how this tank has 5.35k combined damage to 3 Mark. Doesnt that say something about the playerbase?
What “hidden stats” are better on Stinger than on T57H? What are you talking about? Every comparison site (tanks.gg, tomato.gg, skill4ltu.eu) show absolutely no difference between the 2 tanks. Remove your tinfoil hat and start thinking straight – it’s just that better players are playing Stinger than T57, because it was harder to obtain it.
